Ellie has had a successful career in biopharmaceutical executive search since entering the field in 1990. Previously, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry, first as an assistant member of the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology and then as a biochemical pharmacologist for Berlex Laboratories, Inc. She holds a B.A. in biochemistry from the University of PA, an M.S. in pharmacology from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science, a Ph.D. in pharmacology from the Medical College of PA (now Drexel University College of Medicine), and an MBA from Montclair State College.
Ellie is active in professional and volunteer organizations including the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association for Women in Science, the Women's Investment Network, and the Alumni Association of Drexel University College of Medicine. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Drexel University College of Medicine and is a member of ASPET, DIA, RAPS, and ACS.
Ellie also has received numerous honors for her professional and organizational contributions including:

Barry Jones, Ph.D., CEO

Barry spent over fifteen years in the biopharmaceutical industry. He was a founding scientist at Unigene Laboratories, Inc., where he served as Group Leader, Protein Chemistry. As Director of Molecular and Cellular Biology for the Sterling Winthrop Pharmaceuticals Research Division, Barry was responsible for 45 scientists in the areas of protein biochemistry, molecular genetics, cell biology, and molecular virology. Barry has published extensively in the scientific literature, and he has served as a consultant for biotechnology firms and as an advisor for a capital investment company. He received his B.S. in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Ph.D. in biological chemistry from Indiana University.
